Accessing Android Market

Finding and installing an app
When you install apps from Android Market and use them on your phone, they may require access to your personal information (such as your location, contact data, and more) or access to certain functions or settings of your phone. Download and install only apps that you trust.
You can check the progress of the download and installation process in the Notifications panel. To open the Notifications panel, press and hold the status bar at the top of the screen and then slide your finger downward.
After the app is downloaded and installed on your phone, a checkmark icon will be shown on the left side of the status bar.
