Copying Photos and Music to Your Phone
To copy photos and music from your computer to your phone, you need to copy them to your phone’s storage card. Set the storage card as a USB drive first before copying.
- Connect the phone to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The USB icon then appears in the status bar.

- Open the Notifications panel by pressing and holding the status bar and sliding your finger down.

- In the Notifications panel, tap USB connected and then tap Mount. (While your phone is connected to your computer and the storage card is mounted as a USB drive, you will not be able to use some of your phone’s applications such as Albums and Music.)
- On the computer, navigate to the USB drive and open it.
- Create two folders on the root folder of the storage card, one for storing photos and another for music. (You can also create additional folders within each folder to further organize your files.)
- Copy the photos and music to the respective folders you created.
- After copying the photos and music files, eject or unmount the drive as required by your computer’s operating system to safely remove your phone.
- Disconnect your phone from the computer.
You should now be able to view the photos and listen to the music that you copied using the Albums and Music applications on your phone.
