Updating Your Facebook Status

One of the ways your phone can help you stay close to your friends and family is through its integration with Facebook. In addition to being able to see what is going with all of your friends, let them know what you’re up to by updating your Facebook status. Your phone lets you update your status quickly without even having to visit the Facebook website.

Logging in to Facebook

To use Facebook, you must have a Facebook account and be logged in on your phone. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can sign up for free by visiting http://www.facebook.com on your phone or computer Web browser.

Follow the steps below, if you have not yet logged into your Facebook account. If you already logged into Facebook when initially setting up your phone, you do not need to log in again.

1. Press HOME > MENU.
2. Tap Settings > Social networks > Facebook.
3. Enter the email address and password associated with your Facebook account, and then tap Log in.

Entering your Facebook status

Update your Facebook status anytime you like by going to My contact card in the People application.

1. Press HOME, and then tap the All Programs button.



2. Tap People. People opens on the All tab.

   

3. Tap your name (or tap Me if you haven’t specified your name in My contact card).
4. Tap Facebook.
5. Enter your status in the text field labeled “What’s on your mind?” and then tap Share.
